Q: How long until my headpiece, veil or accessory order ships?
A: For made to order products, we hand create your pieces to order. Once the order is placed the production time can take up to 3-4 weeks during slow season (August-February) and 4-7 weeks during busy season (March-July). The turnaround time is our best estimate and does not include shipping times. Unless arranged prior to purchase, production times are our best estimates and not guaranteed. Additionally, there may be slight differences from piece to piece as everything is handmade. We highly recommend ordering your piece(s) sooner rather than later to ensure that you will receive in plenty of time. Unless noted otherwise, special extended turnaround times, etc. Please email: info@violetbells.com if a rush order is needed. May take rush orders for an extra $35 fee.

Q: I need a veil or accessory done quickly. Do you accept rush orders?
A: Yes! We accept rush orders for an additional $35 for a 1 week production turn around. Please contact or email us prior to purchase for a rush order so we can ensure that we have room in our schedule to meet your deadline: info@violetbells.com. If you do not contact us to arrange for a rush order prior to purchase so we can arrange a formal invoice with the $35 fee (anything required in less than the maximum turnaround time of 3-7 weeks), we cannot guarantee that your item will arrive by your requested date.

Q: What are your shipping rates and methods?
A: For the safest shipping services, items will be shipped Ground via UPS (Insured) with tracking number. For international shipping, or to Alaska the buyer is responsible for any fees or charges incurred with the destination country's customs. Please allow for at least 10 working days {once shipped} to receive the delivery internationally.

Q: Do you combine shipping?
A: Yes! We are happy to combine shipping for your purchase when the items are purchased together in one transaction. If you buy items in separate transactions, please email us or write a note in the comments box for the second item to let us know you'd like the shipping combined and we will refund the difference in shipping. With this option, your order will ship out after the turnaround time for when the latest item is fulfilled.

Q: How can I track my package?
A: After the turnaround time has passed, you will receive an email confirmation from us notifying you that we have completed and shipped your order. You will receive a tracking number in the email.

Q: When should I order my piece(s)?
A: When possible, we recommend not waiting until the last minute to order your piece. All our styles are handmade to order with care and attention to detail, so things can take time. If possible, we encourage you to purchase your piece(s) at least 2-3 months before the date in which you will need it (for U.S. domestic orders) as turnaround times can fluctuate and shipping times are variable (unless Express shipping is chosen). If you are an international customer (anything outside the U.S.), purchase at least 3 months prior to the date the item(s) will be needed. Also, if your order is time sensitive, please put your date that you would need it in the comments box at checkout. We cannot guarantee that your order will arrive by your requested date unless you contact us prior to purchase, but we will do our best to get your order out as soon as possible.

Q: Lost packages & shipping issues?
A: After an item leaves our hands, it is at the mercy of the mailing service. For the safest shipping services, items will be shipped Ground via UPS (insured) with tracking number. We will not reimburse or replace items that have been lost or damaged during shipping. Also, please ensure that you list a secure shipping address. We will ship to the address you provide at checkout so please be sure to make sure it is entered correctly.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: All Veils, headpieces, and accessories are made to order. There are no exchanges or refunds on merchandise purchased. All sales are final. Any concerns or issues must be expressed within 7 days of receiving merchandise. 

Exchange Terms and Conditions: Buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. Buyer pays for any price difference between exchanged items. The item must be shipped back within 7 days. Item(s) must be returned in the original box or a similar box to protect it during shipping. It is recommended that a courier with tracking information be used. The exchange will be granted once the item has been returned, inspected, and deemed that it's in original brand new condition.

Q: Do you offer returns on veils, headpieces, and accessories?
A: Please choose your item(s) carefully and email us with any questions prior to purchasing a piece. Due to the delicate nature of the pieces we create, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges at this time. If you receive the incorrect product or if your product arrives damaged (not due to shipping), please email us: info@violetbells.com If the item's damage is not due to shipping, you will need to notify us within 48 hours of item receipt and we will repair or replace as needed. After 48 hours of receipt, any damages to the item will fully be the responsibility of the buyer.

About Our Products

Q: Can I request a custom piece?
A:
If there is a trim, lace, or heirloom piece you would like to have hand crafted into your own special creation. Please contact: info@violetbells.com. Note in subject area : Custom request for (and add) your name.

Q: I saw a VioletBells piece on a blog, website, or in a magazine. Can you recreate it?
A:
Yes, in most cases. Please describe the piece or email a photo and we would be happy to try to fulfill your request.

Q: What are your bridal veils made of?
A: The Illusion Veiling (Tulle) is made in the USA and is made of 100% nylon tulle for quality and safety purposes.

 Veils are lightly folded (for less wrinkling) & headpieces are packaged in a white  or ivory keepsake box. 



Q: Can I add or remove length, layers, or crystals to a veil or accessory from one of your collections?
A: We can work with you on customizations such as: length, adding extra layers, or adding crystals! Please contact: info@violetbells.com

There is an extra $35 fee for a custom pattern length/creation. This does not include the price it will cost to add the following material:

  • 
For extra length in Illusion Veiling (Tulle) is $25 per yard (This price goes for if you request less than a yard for length or an added layer.)
  • For extra Swarovski Crystals/Pearls: for every 10 is $15 extra
  • Double faced silk satin ribbon per yard is:

    • $25 extra - 5/8" wide ribbon 
    • 
$75 extra - 1" wide ribbon

    • $100 extra - 2" wide ribbon

Q: What kind of backings do you offer?
A: We have available to you, silver & gold plated wire combs, alligator clips, and bobby pins. We have the specific backing listed in each product's description based on our recommendation for a particular style. If you prefer an alternate backing, please email us and we are happy to use your preferred backing.

Q: Do you use real crystals, pearls, etc.?
A: In most of our pieces, we use real Swarovski pearls and Swarovski crystals or fresh water pearls or rhinestones. If this is the case, it will be noted in the product's online description. If it does not specifically say, "Swarovski" pearl, or “freshwater” pearl, real pearls were not used. Beads that resemble pearls will be described as "pearls" or "pearl beads", but are not genuine. Glass beads cut into a crystal shape will be called "crystals" but when Swarovski crystals or rhinestones are used, this will be noted in the product's online description.

  • Items in this shop contain small materials and are not suitable for children under the age of 3.
